It fits perfectly on the Sony Nex-5 This macro filter set is pretty cool you can capture photos of insects and anything else you want to get a good close up photo of . it comes with a small bag were you can store the lenses and it comes with an adapter. Its a good choice if you don't want to spend so much money on a large fancy macro lens plus you can attach them all together for super magnification.

The product is good and works well but switching between the lenses is cumbersome...way too cumbersome. I just don't see us getting too much use out of these.

I have the 18-55mm lens on the sony nex-5 and fully zoomed in it gets really close up. You should definatelly manually zoom + tripod if you want a very sharp photo. Otherwise there will be some distortion. Depending on what your shooting its focus in picture is really limited. As far as zoom its decent and close to microscopic quality... I have only taken pictures of my skin and different materials like wood/carpet/leather/sand You can see the individual particles of sand. Looks like little tiny rocks zoomed in.
